Since the announcement of the August 12 EM Day, I have been contacted by several of you that have limitations in attending in person.
We heard you and have been working with the state ODEM to bring you a virtual experience for the August 12 EM Day.
We are working with ODEM to provide meeting rooms for each area to vote on your next Area Vice-President and Alternate Area Vice-President, all while vetting membership to OEMA. We are working on voting options for executive board member positions and for voting on by-laws presented this year.
Our agenda is being adjusted a little to accommodate the changes and the addition of a couple of guest speakers and for becoming virtual. We will update this schedule and update it on our webpage; oklahomaema.com.
We hope that you will attend our virtual experience and please be patient as this is the first time we have done anything like this, we are still learning. We look forward to seeing you all (virtually) and to discuss next year’s conference.
We will send out additional information this week, to include the link to the virtual experience and agenda.
